Dom Tiberi is on a mission to create a new generation of defensive, not distracted, drivers.  That's why Dom is committed to take Maria's Message to as many young drivers as he can. 

His Maria's Message presentation is primarily designed for High School audiences.  Dom gives the students the parent's perspective and encourages them to take the Maria's Message pledge to be safe drivers.  

Dom has delivered Maria's Message to 83 High Schools (and counting) reaching more than 60,000 young people.

You must be a school official to book the presentation.

At your work place and through your usual channel of donating, please designate Maria Tiberi Foundation as your United Way organization.  The funds you designate will be used to support our mission of eliminating distracted driving.

     After years of fundraising we have finally opened our FIRST IN THE NATION SIMULATOR SCHOOL AT TOLLES CAREER AND TECHNICAL CENTER.  IN APRIL, 2022 WE WILL OPEN A SECOND SIMULATOR LAB AT EASTLAND-FAIRFIELD CAREER AND TECHNICAL SCHOOLS.  In coordination with Tolles Career and Technical Center and Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools, a multitude of donors, big and small, we have permanently installed 25 simulators in a dedicated Lab at Tolles , April, 2022  permanently installed 25 simulators in a dedicated Lab at Eastland-Fairfield and in February, 2023 will have permanently installed 25 simulators in a dedicated lab at Fort Hayes.

​The Maria Tiberi Foundation (Tax ID# 46-3814834)  is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and contributions to the Foundation are deductible under IRS Code Section 170.  The Foundation is also entitled to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers and gifts under IRS Code Sections 2055, 2106, and 2522.  The IRS letter making this determination is available to donors and foundations upon request.

What is Amazon Smile?

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. 

The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the Amazon Smile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organizations selected by customers.

Beginning in 2015, we have received checks from Amazon Smile every quarter.

Where has your money been going and what is it doing for your community?

The Maria Tiberi Foundation runs 100% with the hard work of volunteers.  There are no Employees receiving paychecks.  There are no Board Members receiving compensation of any kind.  This means 100% of your contributions goes to support our mission of bringing the message of Distracted Driving Prevention to communities.  We have purchased 46 Driving Simulators and have partnered with various School Districts and Law Enforcement Agencies to bring the message to the community in addition to the 50 simulators in our TWO Simulator Schools located at Tolles Career and Technical Center and Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools, Main Campus.

The Maria Tiberi Foundation has utilized the generous donations of our supporters to provide 44 driving simulators to the following organizations.

1 simulator has been retained by our Foundation for use in our outreach efforts.  This simulator was funded by Columbia Gas of Ohio and American Electric Power Foundation.

​1 simulator was given to Gahanna Police Department.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.

1 simulator was given to Grove City Police Department.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.

1 simulator was given to Portage County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.

2 simulators were given to WBNS-10TV for use in their Maria's Message out reach events.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.

2 simulators were given to the Columbus Police Department.   Both of these were fully funded by grants from the Buster Douglas Foundation and the Trey Burke Foundation.

2 simulators were given to the Dublin Police Department.  These simulators were fully funded by donations from the Greater Dublin Realty Association and proceeds from their 2015 and 2016 fundraising events.

1 simulator was given to the Westerville Police Department.  This simulator was partially funded by proceeds from the Westerville Sunrise Rotary Club's Chilly Open held February 7, 2015.

1 simulator was given to the New Albany Police Department.  This simulator was fully funded by a donation from the New Albany Community Foundation.

1 simulator was given to the Newark Police Department.  This simulator was partially funded by matching grants from State Farm Insurance and their local insurance agents.

1 simulator was given to the Reynoldsburg Police Department.  This simulator was partially funded by donations from Erie Insurance.

1 simulator was given to the Madison County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.

1 simulator was given to the Upper Arlington Police Department.  This simulator was fully funded by a joint donation from the Upper Arlington Rotary Club and the Upper Arlington Education Foundation. 

1 simulator was given to the Whitehall Police Department.  This simulator was partially funded by donations from Grange Insurance.

1 simulator was given to St. Francis De Sales High School, Columbus, Ohio.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.  

1 simulator was given to the Licking County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was partially funded by a grant from State Farm Insurance.

1 simulator was given to the Ohio State University Police Department.  This simulator was fully funded by donations from Urban and Shelley Meyer and Coach Earle Bruce.

1 simulator was given to the Chillicothe Police Department.  This simulator was partially funded by a donation from the Unioto Hoops Club.

1 simulator was given to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was partially funded by donations from the Troopers for a Safer Ohio, Inc. and the State Highway Patrol Federal Credit Union.

2 simulators were given to the Worthington School District.  These simulators were fully funded by a grant from Worthington Industries.

2 simulators were given to the Bellefontaine Police Department.  These were partially funded by donations raised by Dr. Schwartz, Schwartz Family Eyecare.

1 simulator was given to the ProMedica Toledo Children's Hospital.  This was partially funded by a grant from State Farm Insurance and donations received in memory of Emily Kisela.

1 simulator was given to the Lorain County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was wholly funded by a donation from Columbia Gas of Ohio.  

1 simulator was given to the Marion Police Department. This simulator was wholly funded by a donation from Columbia Gas of Ohio.

1 simulator was given to the Muskingum County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was wholly funded by a donation from Columbia Gas of Ohio.

​4 simulators have been placed in State Auto Insurance offices located in Columbus, Ohio; Austin, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Goodlettsville, Tennessee.  These simulators were wholly funded by a donation from State Auto Insurance Company.

​1 simulator was given to the Athen's County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was wholly funded by a donation from American Electric Power Foundation.

1 simulator was given to the Fairfield County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was wholly funded by a donation from American Electric Power Foundation.  

1 simulator was given to the Stark County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was wholly funded by a donation from American Electric Power Foundation.

1 simulator was given to the Scioto County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.

1 simulator was given to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.

1 simulator was given to the Hardin County Sheriff's Department.  This simulator was partially funded by Erie Insurance and donations received in memory of Layton Rogers.

1 simulator was given to Mahoning County / Youngstown State University.  This simulator was funded by your generous donations.
